چکیده

The economic development of any nation leads to the depletion its natural resources, and water is one them. Water pollution caused by various industries like food, leather, textile etc. causes severe impacts on environment humans. To ensure availability whole world, contaminated released from industries, mainly fabric, must be treated reused. conventional techniques alone are not enough treat effluent completely. This why nanotechnology should combined with these traditional techniques. Nanotechnology includes engineered nanoparticles for alteration detoxification contaminants. Compared produced techniques, biogenic environmentally friendly cost-efficient. Microbes such as Rhodotorula mucilaginosa, Hypocrealixii, Bacillus species, Pseudomonas aeuginosa etc., used fabricate nanoparticles. Among microbes, bacteria considered a bio-factory fabrication Different researchers reported an average dye removal efficiency between 87% 92%. When applied actual waste rather than synthetic dye, gives good results through adsorption process. In this review, methods degradation explained, but focus biological treatment in combination nanotechnology.

Fungal Biosorption, An Innovative Treatment for the Decolourisation and Detoxification of Textile Effluents

Textile effluents are among the most difficult-to-treat wastewaters, due to their considerable amount of recalcitrant and toxic substances. Fungal biosorption is viewed as a valuable additional treatment for removing pollutants from textile wastewaters. In this study the efficiency of Cunninghamella elegans biomass in terms of contaminants, COD and toxicity reduction was tested against textile ...

Decolourisation of a synthetic textile effluent using a bacterial consortium.

In the present study we examined the performance of a thermoalkalophilic bacterial consortium, where the predominant strain was Bacillus sp. SF, in the degradation of Reactive Black 5 (RB5). We used a reactor working in continuous mode and investigated the effects of pH, hydraulic retention time (HRT) and several added salts on colour and chemical oxygen demand (COD) reductions. For the chosen ...

Decolourisation of textile wastewater in a submerged anaerobic membrane bioreactor.

Azo dye decolourisation can be easily achieved by biological reduction under anaerobic conditions. The aim of this study was to evaluate the applicability of submerged anaerobic membrane bioreactors (SAMBRs) for the decolourisation of dyeing wastewater containing azo dyes. The reactive orange 16 was used as model of an azo dye. The results demonstrated that very high decolourisation (higher tha...

Colour removal from textile effluents

The environmental issues associated with residual colour in textile efnuents have posed a major challenge to environmental scientists as well as the textile colouration processors. The requirements to remove colour from textile efnuent on si te prior to discharge to sewer have been progressively tightened due to increased public complaints about coloured watercourses. Dyes are highly dispersibl...

Decolourisation of reactive textile dye effluent by using Bacterial strain

The study was investigated the decolorization potentials of certan selected microbial species (bacterial) to an actual textile dyeing industry effluent. All the microbes tested namely (bacterial) Bacillus sp, pseudomonas sp, Acineto bacter, Legionella and Staphylococcus (bacterial) showed greater potential in decolorizing the dye effluent. Bacterial decolorization of textile effluents were crit...
